Ammon Ford

Ammon Jacob Ford, born in Eugene Oregon, first started acting at age 4.Ammon is known for his lead role in the dramedy feature film, Downhill, in which he stars opposite Will Ferrel, who plays his father, and Julia Louis Dreyfus, as his mother. Directed by Jim Rash and Nat Faxon.

Ammon is nominated at the prestigious Young Artist Academy Awards in the “Leading Teen Artist in a Feature Film”, category for his lead role as Emerson, in the movie Downhill. Other well known recent work includes playing the lead role of Michael Hayes, in the t.v series Seal Team, on CBS. Ammon played opposite David Boreanaz, who plays his father, and mother played by Alana Hayes. He was in 11 episodes, 2 seasons until he had to leave the series to film a movie in Austria for 3 months.

Ammon, while recurring on Seal Team, also played “young Cole”recurring, for the series Lethal Weapon, on Fox, where he worked alongside his future self, played by Seann William Scott, also Daman Wayans, and Louise Lombard as his mother. He worked on the show for a few episodes until the series ended.

He was on the show 911, on Fox, as a lead role, where the entire story featured him.

He has appeared in 24 commercials, t.v.guest star roles, as well as short films, and even modeling for Forever 21.

Ammon is an amazing athlete and learns incredibly fast!

Ammon began riding a bike at 3 and everything else just came easily from there.

Ammon played baseball, and soccer on city teams, karate, surfing, hoverboarding, and has been on a football team for several years, playing pretty much every position. When Ammon was hired to film the movie Downhill he had never skied, a stunt double was hired to play Ammon’s skiing portion of the movie. Ammon determined to learn, surprised everyone after only 3- 1 hr lessons, the directors and producers were floored as Ammon was not only able to do his own stunts for the movie but had managed to make his way to the “black slopes” in the Swiss, Italian, Austrian Alps!!

Ammon also had to learn golf for a commercial and they thought he had been playing for years. Truly a very athletic and fast-learning young man.

The best part about Ammon though is that everyone loves him. He is a pleasure to work with and everyone from the lead stars, the AD’s and everyone in between, even gaffers and makeup… LOVE him!

Ammon serves in his community and was in the boy scout program for many years, you can always find him helping someone.
